Annual Inspections

Annual inspections are a critical part of keeping your aircraft safe and airworthy. At Capital Wings, we follow all FAA documentation and inspection requirements to ensure your airplane is thoroughly checked and ready for another year of safe flying. Our experienced A&P mechanics and IA take the time to inspect every detail, giving you peace of mind that your aircraft is in top condition. We highly recommend scheduling your annual inspection in advance to avoid last-minute stress and ensure your aircraft stays on schedule. Planning ahead helps us better serve you and keeps your flying season running smoothly.

Pre-Buy Inspections

Buying an aircraft is a big investment, and a thorough pre-buy inspection is one of the smartest steps you can take. At Capital Wings, we offer comprehensive pre-buy inspections and can travel to wherever your potential aircraft is located. Our experienced, FAA-certified team will carefully evaluate the aircraft’s condition, maintenance history, and overall airworthiness so you know exactly what you're getting into.

We understand that a poor inspection—or worse, skipping one—can lead to costly surprises down the road. On the other hand, a detailed and honest inspection can give you confidence in your purchase and even serve as a valuable tool in your negotiations. Our goal is to protect your investment and help you make an informed, stress-free decision.

Owner Assist Programs

At Capital Wings, we proudly offer Owner Assist Maintenance—an opportunity for aircraft owners to be directly involved in the maintenance of their plane under the supervision of our FAA-certified A&P mechanics. This hands-on approach not only helps reduce labor costs, but also gives you a deeper understanding of your aircraft’s systems, condition, and care needs.

We highly encourage owner participation during maintenance tasks, as it builds confidence, knowledge, and a stronger connection with your airplane. Whether you're helping with an oil change, inspection items, or minor repairs, our team will guide you through the process while ensuring everything is completed to FAA standards. It's a great way to stay engaged and empowered as an aircraft owner.
